The 47WP was a request
from the five star hotel 'LITTLE DIX' in Virgin Gorda. They
had commissioned the third 45' wave piercer, SAVANNAH BAY, back in 1995
and they found it invaluable to the functioning of the resort.
Furthermore, they realized that they not only needed a second vessel but
that both vessels would best be inboard diesel powered. Hence, the
'SAVANNAH BAY', and her soon to be launched sister 'SANDY CAY'. |
