Construction:

  • Fir and Cedar strip planked hulls, with stringer / frame / plywood topsides  triaxial glassed outside and unidirectional glassed inside

  • Molded fiberglassed foam cabin roof, Baltek decolite & stringer /frame / plywood decks, beams and wing.

  • All materials  marine  grade, laminated and coated with  WEST  SYSTEM™  Epoxy resins

Interior Finish:

  • Gougeon WEST SYSTEM Epoxy Products

  • Painted semi-gloss Awlgrip, teak trim varnished

  • Formica counter and table tops

Exterior Finish:

  • Awlgrip Polyurethane paint over epoxy primer

  • Single color topsides with cove and rail stripe

  • Single color cockpit, cabin sides and mast

  • Name and hailing port on aft beam

  • 3 coats antifouling

 

Running Rigging Hardware:

  • Lewmar  Series 2, 3 and 4 blocks and some Racing series sheaves; numerous
         organizers&stoppers

Steering:

  • 32” Edson Destroyer wheel, Hynautic hydraulic system to Edson tiller arm in series

Spars:

  • 62' GCY rotating wing spar 3/4 rig with diamonds and rotator

  • Antal track and cars for luff

  • S.S. and Teflon mast rotation base

  • Charleston Spar boom with provisions for two reefs and 2-part lazyjacks

Rigging:

  • Standing - All standing rigging is Norseman using Dyform  SS  wire  terminating with Norseman 
         fittings, turnbuckles and   toggles to SS  chainplates.

  • Running - All running rigging is Samson with ultra-tech halyards, xls sheets and sta-set controls

Sails:

  • Full batten, max roached, loose-footed Technora main with three  reefs and sail cover, Technora jib 
         and cover

  • 1 Clarion XMA cassette stereo with AM/FM, CD Controller and remote control; XM665 CD changer; 4 Bose Speakers

Accommodations

Main Hull:
    From forward aft: Collision bulkhead, Large sail locker with large hatch directly overhead. Double
    bunk with storage under and then hanging lockers P & S lead into wing fairings with stowage 
    beyond. Duck under main beam to navigators  bunk to port  with shelves and head to starboard
    behind  daggerboard trunk with storage outboard. Step up into main cabin area with 8’ galley to
    port with shelves outboard. Comfortable U-shaped settee to starboard which converts to single or
    double berth with navigation station on forward edge of settee.  Maximum storage under  cabin
    sole on several levels includes built in water tanks. Large 5.5’ x 11’ cockpit  with seat ledges.
