HULLS AND DECKS

Construction:

  • Resin-infused foam/glass/epoxy hulls. Bows reinforced for beaching.
     

  • Vacuum bagged foam/glass/epoxy bulkheads, bridge deck, floorboards, decks, cabin, roof, wing fairing and beams
     

  • Construction of forward beam, bar, capt. station, seats and some other components may be either wood/epoxy with fiberglass sheathing or may be vacuum bagged foam/glass/epoxy
     

  • All materials marine grade. GOUGEON WEST SYSTEM™ epoxy resin will be used to laminate, coat, glass tape and bond. CoPolymer Designs (CPD) epoxy resin will be used to infuse and vacuum bag components.

Exterior Finish:

  • Awlgrip Polyurethane paint over epoxy primer--commercial yacht finish

Interior Finish:

  • Waterbase Awlgrip main cabins and heads

Paint & Graphics:

  • Matterhorn White topsides, cockpit, mast

  • Choice of colors for topside stripe

  • Choice of nonskid deck colors

  • 2 - Coats of bottom paint (3 coats at waterline)

  • 3" Name and hailing port on aft beam

  • 8" Name on port and starboard topsides

DECK FITTINGS AND EQUIPMENT

Mooring Cleats:

  • 2 - 15" Stainless

Fairleads:

  • 2 - 7 3/4" Bow Chocks

Deck Hatches:

  • 2 - Lewmar size 70 hatches

  • Charleston Spar boom with provisions for two reefs and 2-part lazyjacks

Rigging:

  • Standing - All standing rigging is Norseman Dyform SS wire terminating
    with Norseman fittings, turnbuckles and toggles to SS chainplates

  • Running - All running rigging is GWB Halyard Braid

Sails:

  • Full batten, IOR loose-footed main with two reefs, aqua battens and sailcover

  • Working jib with bag

  • 2 - Forward nets made of black 3/8" halyard braid on 2 1/2" centers
